Bryan Cassiday writes thrillers and horror fiction. His story "Boxed" appeared in the anthology Shadows and Teeth Volume Two, which won both the International Book Award for best adult horror anthology 2017 and the Florida Association of Publishers and Authors President's Award gold medal for horror anthology 2017. He wrote the zombie epic Zombie Apocalypse: The Chad Halverson Series.

He graduated from UCLA with a BA degree in English and did postgraduate work at the USC Film School. He worked for the federal government for fifteen years. He now writes thrillers and horror stories full-time. He lives in California.

Not a native Californian, he grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. He has been writing stories and novels and sending them out to publishers since the age of twenty-one. After receiving (literally) thousands of rejections from magazines, publishers, and agents, he recently decided to forego the traditional New York publishing houses and self-publish his works.

Among his many works are: the boxed set Zombie Apocalypse: The Chad Halverson Series (2016), the Ethan Carr thriller series, Helter Skelter (2011), The Anaconda Complex (2011), The Kill Option (2010), Blood Moon: Thrillers and Tales of Terror (2009), and Fete of Death (2007).

He spends his spare time reading thriller and horror books and watching thriller and horror movies.
